Mr. S. Ranganathan is a distinguished executive with a 40-year career defined by deep industry expertise and versatile leadership. For over 24 years, S. Ranganathan was a senior figure in the large-scale fertilizer and petrochemical complex, holding key roles across a wide spectrum of functional areas, including Safety & Environmental Management, Sales & Commercial, Technical Services, and Project Management.
His expertise in process design and engineering is extensive, with a proven track record in preparing detailed feasibility reports, energy audits, safety audits, and participated in HAZOP studies for complex chemical plants. In Technical Services, S. Ranganathan was actively involved in studies to assess and optimize overall factory performance, successfully conceptualizing and implementing numerous large-scale improvement schemes.
As a seasoned Project Manager, S. Ranganathan has a history of steering projects from initial conceptualization to final completion, delivering on time and within budget. This is complemented by significant experience in conducting both technical and financial internal audits to ensure the efficacy of policy implementation.
S. Ranganathan is a foremost expert in governance and compliance. He has developed and controlled procedures to meet rigorous ISO standards (QMS, EMS, EnMS) and safety protocols. His experience includes conducting safety audits, managing environmental monitoring, and acting as the Management Representative (MR) for successful ISO re-certification. In the last seven years, S. Ranganathan has been a leader in the sustainability sector, serving as a Project Manager, Team Leader, and Technical Expert for the validation and verification of GHG emission reduction projects under CDM, VCS, GCC, and Gold Standard mechanisms.
